|Dr. C. M. Padma had acquired her academic degrees from Madurai Kamaraj and Manonmaniam Sundaranar Universities. She has about 34 years of teaching experience. Currently she is an Associate professor and presently she is the Principal of our College. She has produced 3 Ph.D. Scholars. At Present she is guiding 6 scholars. She has published 22 papers in International journals and 12 papers in National journals. She is an approved guide in Physics and her field of research is material science.|

|Dr. M. M. Latha, Associate Professor and Head of the Department has been teaching Physics since 1987. Her area of research is Nonlinear Dynamics. She is extensively engaged in research activities. She has completed one Minor Research Project funded by UGC, three Major Research Projects funded by UGC, BRNS and DST.She has published 50 papers in various International Journals and reviewed 97 articles for reputed International Journals. She has attended many conferences and presented papers both inside and outside the country. So far, 13 students have completed Ph.D. under her guidance and 6 students are pursuing research. She has also guided more than 20 M.Phil. Scholars.|

|Dr. D. Usha is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics. She joined this Institution in the year 1987. She served as a Member of the Senate and Member of Board of Studies in the U.G. Physics Major in the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. She is also serving as a Member, Board of Examiner for paper setting (Physics), Annamalai University. She is a recognised Research Supervisor in M.S. University. Her areas of research are Spectroscopy, Nano materials and Energy Physics.She has published 21 papers in various National and International Journals. Two candidates have completed their Ph.D. under her guidance and four scholars are pursuing their research under her. She has also guided 6 M.Phil. scholars.|

|Dr.V. Bena Jothy is serving in the Department of Physics since 1991. She has cleared the State Level Screening Test conducted by the University of Madras in 1990. She serves as a research guide in Manonmaniam Sundaranar University. She has published 68 papers in International peer reviewed journals and reviewed 21 articles in Scopus indexed journals. She has presented papers in 143 National and 72 International Conferences. She has delivered invited talks in 4 International Conferences and served as Chair Person in many Conferences. She has guided 10 M.Phil Scholars and 11 Scholars have completed research under her guidance. At present, 4 scholars are pursuing research under her guidance. She has received Best Paper Award in the 98th Indian Science Congress Association Conference and also the recipient of Academic Achievers award from Kanniyakumari Academy of Arts and Science. She is the life member of some scientific associations. She is serving as a member of the U.G Physics Board of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University.|

|Dr. G. Shanthi is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics. She has a total experience of nearly 31 years. Her fields of research are Radiation Physics and Space Physics. She has guided eighteen M. Phil. scholars. Eight Ph.D. scholars have been awarded doctorate degrees under her and four more are pursuing their research.She has published six research papers in International Journals.She is serving as a Chief of the U.G Allied Physics Examination Board of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University.|

|Dr. S. Grace Victoria is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics since 2017 after acquiring a working experience of 7 years in the P.G. Department of Physics (S.F). Her area of expertise is Materials Science specialising in Thin Film Gas Sensors. She has 3 publications in InternationalJournals. She has guided eight M.Phil. scholars. She is an approved guide under M.S. University and four research scholars are pursuing research under her. She is the Coordinator of the Add-on course in Physics offered by M.S. University.|
